An award-winning vineyard set on more than 100 acres, Saltwater Farm in Stonington, Connecticut is a spectacular place to hold your wedding. Shepherd’s Run, New England’s newest full-service event venue is able to accommodate gatherings up to 300 people with an all-inclusive special occasion destination experience. From intimate parties to large scale weddings and celebrations, Shepherd’s Run has an array of indoor and outdoor event spaces. Our signature sailcloth wedding tent, with its cherry wood poles, and 25’ peaked canvas structure, is situated at the rear of the manor on the lower lawn overlooking the Narrow River and soon to be East Vineyard. Wedding ceremonies can be held in our indoor Event Hall or the Beatrix Farrand-designed walled garden. The thirty-six acre estate boasts numerous additional spaces for gatherings including the Winemaker’s Room, Wine Hall, Manor Terrace, and Rush Sturges Study. Each can be adapted to fit the needs of your special event.
In addition to the numerous gathering spaces, Shepherd’s Run also boasts ten guest rooms. Each is designed with a fresh take on traditional New England craftmanship. To create a one of a kind destination experience full property buyouts are also available.

Bedell Cellars
Bedell Cellars is on of the most beautiful of the North Fork wedding venues with its green vineyards and cathedral-roofed pavilion that usually serves as their tasting room. You’ll be able to exchange your vows standing in a fragrant apple orchard and have the reception in the charming mahogany pavilion.
The Bedell Cellars venue can accommodate up to 200 people.
Corey Creek Vineyards
We love Corey Creek Tap Room, the “little sister” of Bedell Cellars, for its hip-yet-chic vibe and intimate setting. The 24-acre space includes a deck overlooking the vines, ideal for intimate ceremonies or larger cocktail parties that spill into the Tap Room artfully designed with an upside-down canoe in the lofty rafters and knotted rope lights. Receptions are generally tented affairs on the lawn facing the vineyards, with an outdoor capacity of 100 guests. Couples can select from 16 bottled wine varietals from Corey Creek and Bedell Cellars, plus the six to eight wines that flow from the tap for an authentic wine-pairing culinary experience.
